Assurance GDS Molecular Genetic Detection System for Bacterial Detection and Identification

Assurance® GDS genetic detection system is a genetic based detection for bacterial detection and identification that offers real time results. It utilizes a multiplex platform with multiple levels of specificity i.e. separation of target antigens with immunomagnetic separation with a device called Assurance ® PickPenTM, identification of bacterial genetic codes with primers and probe after multiplication with a rotary thermocycler. Partial automation of the above process is available with the GDS PickPenTM PipetMax® (PPMX). This machine is an automated magnetic particles handler that handles automatically the immunomagnetic separation of the target from the matrix and dispenses all the liquid GDS reagents like concentration reagent, wash solution, resuspension buffer and select media. All GDS dispensing protocols are stored in the machine. Its modular system accommodated small and large runs. It utilizes an air displacement pipetting and follows an aseptic path minimizing cross contamination. The instrument is operated with a large screen tablet. Tests are available for salmonella, Listeria spp, Listeria mono, Cronobacter, EO157:H7, E. coli O104, MPX Top 7 STEC, MPX Top 6 STEC, Shiga toxin genes.

Gemini® is a fully automated microtiter plate processor that is compatible with all EIA assays and is pre-programmed for BioControl’s TRANSIA® PLATE assays. Gemini® offers increased capacity over other systems for high throughput testing. It has an integrated PC with a large touch screen and eliminates the need for external workstation. It is compatible with LIMS. It can process 3 microtiter plates simultaneously. Transia® PLATE tests are available for Salmonella spp, EHEC, Listeria spp, Listeria monocyctogenes, Chloramphenicol, Total Aflatoxins, and Staphylococcus enterotoxins.

It measures simultaneous readout of 96 wells in just 5 secs. This is maintenance free, precise, robust and requires no additional power supply other than the USB connection. It has 4 different wave lengths 405, 450, 540 and 630nm.

RIDACUBE SCAN Photometric Reader

RIDA®CUBE SCAN is a photometric system that reads the enzymatic and colorimetric assays for the detection of organic acids, sugars and other food components under the R-Biopharm range. It is a walk-away system that can execute single testing for 32 single test cartridges. Results are calculated automatically and displayed on a screen and can be tied to Laboratory Management System (LIMS). Wavelengths can be chosen to be 340, 546 or 580 nm. Test available includes ethanol, total sulfite, lactic acid, glucose, sucrose, lactose, galactose, malic acid, acetic acid and ammonia.

RIDA Crest Automatic Sampling and Immune Affinity Absorbance for Alpha Toxin

The RIDA^®CREST are online handling system used in conjunction with IMMUNOPREP^® ONLINE cartridges for mycotoxin testing. The reader crest can be connected. The RIDA^®CREST ICE can be connected to any HPLC system. The system can process up to 12 cartridges before a change. Following extraction and filtration, the sampler is placed in an autosampler vial. The diluted sample is then injected into the online immunoaffinity cartridge which contains a specific monoclonal antibody. After washing and elution, the sample is automatically injected into the HLPC.
